Seed of Faith by Sascha was born at the quiet intersection of faith, craftsmanship, and a life gently reordered by God.
My name is Sascha, and I am the hands and heart behind each rosary you see here. I am a wife, a mother of two daughters, and a woman who came home to the Catholic faith through a journey that was both unexpected and deeply transformative.
Raised in a Protestant Christian home, I was always familiar with Scripture and with loving Jesus. But in 2023, after my husband and I were asked to become Godparents to our newborn nephew, I began learning about the Catholic faith more intentionally. What started as preparation for that role soon became something far deeper. Through prayer, study, and participation in the Mass, I found myself drawn into a richer understanding of Christ’s sacrifice, the beauty of the Trinity, and the depth of the Church’s traditions.
I was no longer learning out of obligation, but out of love.
In March of 2024, I was confirmed into the Catholic Church — a moment that marked not an ending, but a beginning. My faith became something lived daily, woven into ordinary moments, family life, and prayer.
Around this same season, God gently revived a skill I had learned many years earlier. While working in a fine jewelry store over a decade ago, I became trained in the traditional hand-knotting of pearl strands. That technique — slow, precise, and rooted in care — stayed with me, even after years had passed.
In the fall of 2023, I came across a small collection of rosary beads and felt inspired to apply that classic knotting method to rosary making. At the time, I had never prayed the Rosary myself and was still learning its meaning and rhythm. As I researched, crafted, and prayed, something beautiful unfolded. The act of making rosaries became prayer itself.
The first rosary I hand-knotted was gifted to my youngest daughter. Soon, I was crafting rosaries quietly in the evenings, seated with my family, allowing creativity and devotion to flow together. What began as gifts for loved ones grew into requests, and those requests became Seed of Faith by Sascha.
Each rosary is fully handcrafted using natural silk cord, double-threaded for strength, and double-knotted between every bead. This method ensures durability, longevity, and reverence for what the rosary represents. No two rosaries are rushed. No shortcuts are taken.
Pricing reflects the quality of materials used and the time required to craft each piece — typically one and a half to two hours per rosary — as well as the intention to create something worthy of lifelong prayer. A portion of every sale is donated to my beloved parish, in gratitude for the faith community that continues to nourish and support this work.
Seed of Faith by Sascha exists to offer more than a handmade item. These rosaries are meant to be faithful companions — tools for prayer, reminders of God’s presence, and heirlooms rooted in devotion.
Thank you for being here, and for allowing my work to accompany you in prayer.
May peace be with you. With much love, Sascha
